Donna M. Lorah Dutter, 73, Park Towers, Nanticoke, formerly of Carbondale, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at home. Born in Philadelphia March 22, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and June Painter Lorah. During her working career, Donna was employed by RCA, Mountain Top, The Times leader, and Citizens Voice, and finally, was a long-time manager of the McDonald’s restaurant, Scranton. She was a member of Christ Community Church, Kingston, and loved her Friday night bingo at Park Towers, which she ran. She was very funny, kind, happy and very independent. Donna enjoyed life and loved her family, and will be missed immensely. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over forty years, Floyd Dutter, who passed away November 8, 2005; and brothers, Daniel and James Lorah. Surviving is her loving son, Mark A. Dutter and his partner, Kirsten; a new grandson, Tristan A. Dutter; step children, Joe, Christine, Floyd, Patricia, and John; siblings, Margie, Marvin, Terry, Fred, April, Judy, and Debbie; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Services will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from Dinelli Family Funeral home, 170 E. Broad St. Nanticoke, with the Rev. John Butch, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call for viewing and visitation from 3 p.m. until the time services begin. Interment will be held private at a later date in the Historic Old White Church Cemetery, Ringtown, PA.
