Teresa M. Kamowski, 100, of Nanticoke passed away Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025 at her home.
Born April 18, 1925 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Alice Sadowski Schlotterbeck (Beck).
She married Dennis C. Kamowski on November 28, 1946. They shared 71 years of marriage until his passing on January 18, 2018. Teresa's main interest in life was her home, her family, and her Catholic faith.
She was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke and formerly St. Stanislaus Church prior to the consolidation of parishes.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Parsons.
Surviving are her five children, Ronald Kamowski and wife, Ann, Nanticoke, Marie Fiorini, Bethlehem, Anne Teel and husband, Ronald, Montrose, Leon Kamowski and wife, Beth, Lehighton, and Todd Kamowski, Nanticoke; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and one on the way; a sister, Betty Caffrey as well as nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kamowski's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to her caregivers who assisted for the past seven years.
Funeral services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, 520 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke.
Entombment and Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Viewing and visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 9 a.m. until transferal to the church.
