Scott W. Williams, 58, of Sans Souci Parkway, Hanover Township, was called to rest Thursday, August 12, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

Born July 13, 1963 in Nanticoke he was a son of the late Edward R. Sr. and Elsie (Jones) Williams. Scott was a graduate of Crestwood High School, Mountain Top, class of 1981.

He was an avid Eagles football fan and prior to becoming disabled, had been active with Nanticoke and Tilbury Volunteer fire companies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Marilyn Conklin and Cynthia Reakes and a brother, Kenneth.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Edward R. Jr, and wife, Denise Williams, who were his caretakers, and a sister, Joan Thomas. Scotty was more like a big brother to his many surviving nieces and nephews, including his best friend, Edward R Williams III.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with the Rev. Sylvia Thomas, pastor of the Berean Lighthouse, Nanticoke, officiating.

Family and friends are invited to call for viewing and visitation on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
