Sally A. Groblewski

     Sally A. Groblewski, 82, of Nanticoke, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 a patient at Birchwood Healthcare and Rehabilitaiton Center.

     Born August 6, 1943, She was the daughter of the late Norman and Phyllis Schumoszyk Groblewski. She was educated, graduating from Nanticoke High School and went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, and two Master’s degrees (social and heath care administration) from College Misericordia. She had a fulfilling career being employed at the former Nanticoke State Hospital, the former Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, and last with SCI Waymart until retiring. Sally also was employed in sales by Pan American Airways for seven years, enabling her to travel to many countries.

     Surviving is a cousin, Elaine Clark and her husband, Michael, Schnecksville, PA, and their daughters, Susan Kearns (Godchild) and Ann Gresko.

     Private services will be arranged at the discretion of the family. Honoring Sally’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation.

     interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
