Paul P. Moore, 69, life- long resident of Hunlock Creek, Ross Township, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at his home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre March 26, 1954, he was a son of the late Cory W. and Anna C. Rinker Moore.
Paul was a 1975 graduate of Lake Lehman High School and West Side Vocational Technical School. He enlisted and served in the Army National Guard and went on to work for Gleason Corporation, later Pulverman Sheet Metal, in Dallas, where he was currently employed. He also had a newspaper delivery routes at one time. Paul looked forward to his yearly Fourth of July parties and enjoyed spending his time working on his car. He loved to care for his chickens, cats, and dogs, and was always there to lend a helping hand, no matter who you were.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Vernon, Walter, Russell, and Corey Moore, Katherine Dorsett, Clara Baker, and Charlotte Mitchell.
Surviving is a sister, Shirley Moore; a brother, Donald Moore and his partner, Darla Hartman; several nieces and nephews; a great niece and nephew; and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Daniel Brubaker, officiating. There will be no public viewing or calling hours.
