Patricia A. Gudz, 71, of Kingston, formerly of Springbrook Township, passed away Wednesday evening, June 26, 2024 at home.

Born June 12, 1953, in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Martha Jaskulski Haughney.

A graduate of John S. Fine High School, Nanticoke, she went on to attend the Bradford Beauty Academy. She was a licensed hair dresser since 1975, operating her salon, Pat Gudz's place, for ten years in Springbrook Township. Prior to retiring in 2020, she also worked for thirteen years at Tosi's Hair Replacement Clinic, Exeter as a hair replacement technician.

Patricia was a member of River of Life Fellowship Church, Dallas. She enjoyed doing charity work and volunteering at different shelters. She also loved bowling, gardening, and visiting museums.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former spouse, Thomas J. Gudz in 2002; her brother, Robert Haughney; and sister-in-law, Patricia H. Gudz.

Surviving is her son, Sean Weidow, and his wife, Traci; granddaughter, Shelby Weidow and grandson, Tristian Weidow; sister-in-law, Lucille Gudz; several cousins; and two nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1st, from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke, with her pastor, Reverend Wayne Morgan Jr., officiating.

Private interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family in Springbrook Cemetery.

Friends may call for visitation hours from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
