Michael J. Haydock, 66, of the Sheatown section of Newport Township, passed away Saturday, October 23rd 2021, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

A life-long resident of the Nanticoke area, he was born April 6, 1955, the son of the late Michael and Irene (Dobrowolski) Haydock.

Michael had a long career working as a meat cutter in the area for over forty years. He was last employed with Robzen in Swoyersville and later Hazleton, until retiring in 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Sunarja) Haydock with whom he celebrated 19 years of marriage on March 16th. Also surviving is his sister, Barbara Fegal and husband, Ted of White Haven; a niece, Michelle White, her husband, Russell and their son Zachary; a nephew, Teddy Fegal and his wife, Kaylee, all of Shickshinny Lake.

Viewing and visitation hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke.

Private interment will be in Nanticoke Cemetery.
