MaryAnn (Larish) Pawlush, 84, of Mocanaqua, passed away peacefully at her eldest daughter’s house on March 31, 2026. Born in Rohrsburg, PA, on April 1, 1941, she was a devoted mother of seven, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of six. Her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of her family and friends.
MaryAnn was known for her warmth, creativity, and love of family traditions. She cherished camping trips, painting ceramics, baking cookies and pies, cooking for her large family, crafting, traveling abroad, and decorating for every holiday—especially Christmas. Each December, she delighted in finding the widest Christmas tree that could fit in her living room.
A lifelong resident of Mocanaqua, MaryAnn graduated from Newport High School. She worked for many years at Country Cousins Shoe Factory before retiring to enjoy gardening and visiting numerous national parks across the United States. She was also a proud member of the Polish Falcons Nest 163.
She is survived by her partner of more than 40 years, Lynn Titus; her children Cheryl Boberick (Dr. Kenneth), Daryl (Suzanne), Denise (Gina), Larry (Diane), Michele Fountain (Tom), Rene’e Pawlush Smith (Daniel), and Daniele Wadas (Hank); grandchildren Brandon Boberick (Amy), Casey Koch (Evan), Gabrielle Maul (David), Alexander Pawlush (Nicole), Zachary and Taylor Pawlush, Daniel, Jeffrey, and Michael Fountain, Derek and Lauren Wadas; and great-grandchildren Brinley and Brycen Boberick, Bennett and Lyla Koch, Piper Maul, and Thea Pawlush. She is also survived by her sister Linda Milakovic, brother Richard Larish, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sophie (Lapinski) Larish; sister, Carol Killian; brother, Joseph Larish; and her former husband, Lawrence Pawlush.
