Early in life, Marlene worked at the General Cigar Plant and at Reilly Plating Company. For several years, she also was employed by City Cab Company and Barbara’s Custom Floral. She last worked with her daughter Carol, at Carol’s Floral and Gift in Nanticoke, helping in every aspect of the floral business, until her health no longer permitted.
She enjoyed watching TV, especially NASCAR, General Hospital and Grey’s Anatomy, working on puzzles and word finds, playing bingo at the Honeypot Fire Hall, and visits from family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Harvey W. Moyer on September 15, 2022.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Clyde Moyer Sr. and fiancée, Loretta Presto of Nanticoke; Carol Moyer of Nanticoke; and Kimberly Slosky and husband, Edward of Mountain Top; grandchildren, Clyde Moyer Jr. and wife, Silvia, Miranda Slosky and partner, Valerie Kilburn, Jacob Slosky and fiancée, Emma Vanchure, and Heather Giron; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Logan Moyer; a sister, Gloria Graboske; brothers; Frank and David Petroski; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
