Margaret A. Olmstead

Margaret A. Olmstead, 86, of Nanticoke, passed away Wednesday April 1, 2026.

Born June 30, 1939 in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Margaret Robertson Kovalski. She graduated from Nanticoke High School, class of 1957 and completed her training to become a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech program and through Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

She worked for the former Mercy Hospital, for twenty-five years, retiring in 2005. She was last employed at the PennDot Delaware Water Gap Welcome Center which she greatly enjoyed. Margaret also enjoyed her horse and time living in the Poconos.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Adam Kovalski.

Surviving are sons,  Anthony Korch, Nanticoke; Kevin Korch and his wife, Melissa, and grandson Seth Korch of Florida; daughter, Karen Jason and husband, Stanley of Nuangola; and a nephew, Brian Kovalski.

There will be no public services or calling hours.

Interment will be on the family plot in Nanticoke Cemetery at a later date.
