Obituary

Lois A. Baranowski, 75, passed away at home on September 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving siblings.

"Sissie", as she was known to her family, was born January 27, 1950 to the late Ed and Rose Levandowski Baranowski. She was a graduate of Hanover Memorial High School, class of 1968. She was a hard worker and was employed at various plants in the area including: RCA Corporation and Trion Industries.

Lois was an avid Raiders football fan and Dodgers baseball fan going all the way back to the Brooklyn Dodgers. She collected stamps, Disney VHS tapes, and her famous turtle collection, which boasted some 250 turtles. She enjoyed Yatzee and doing jigsaw puzzles and loved her television shows, sometimes watching late into the night.

She will be remembered by her family and friends as a good person who could be counted on for a good laugh, or a helping hand.

Left to cherish her memories are brother, John Baranowski, (Jeri) of Reading, and Joe Baranowski (Nancy) of Dallas; a sister, Ann Rose Deputy (Ron) of Bear Creek. Lois and Anna had a special bond that only sisters can share. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank Dr. Kerrigan and Dr. Saidman, as well as the staff at Allied Skilled Nursing, Center City and Allied Hospice, for taking such good care of Lois.
