Linda S. Buckley, 61, of Nanticoke was unexpectedly called home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Born January 5, 1962, at Nanticoke State General Hospital, she was a daughter of the late John F. Sr. and Sophie (Baldygo) Buckley, of Nanticoke.

Linda attended John S. Fine High School where, in addition to her studies, enjoyed swimming. Linda was a member St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception in Wilkes-Barre, where she practiced her unwavering faith and service to the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was greeted in Heaven by her brother Richard Buckley and daughter, Jessica

Buckley, both of Nanticoke.

Linda loved her family and will be greatly missed by her two sons John Matthew and Michael Alexander, both of Nanticoke; grandchildren Christian, Vanessa, and Julian; and siblings John (Noreen) and Michael (Stacey) Buckley of Nanticoke, and Donald (Erika) Buckley, of Nuangola. Linda enjoyed being surrounded by laughter, which she found within her many nieces and nephews; Devon (Joshua) Buckley, Meghan (Neal) Buckley-McMahon, Jacqueline (Richard) Williams, Michaela Buckley and Connor Buckley, along with one great nephew and two great nieces.

A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023, at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception at 134 S. Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Interment will follow in St. Mary of Czestochowa Cemetery Nanticoke.

There will be no public viewing or calling hours.
