Joseph M. Denoy, 71, of Nanticoke passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born March 6, 1952, in Mocanaqua, he was the son of the late Michael and Theonia (Fannie) Berdy Denoy.

He was a graduate of Bloomsburg State College, attaining his bachelor's degree, and was employed by Luzerne County, working in community redevelopment.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lois J. Tardio with whom he shared 26 years of marriage upon her death on March 12, 2010.

Surviving is his son, Joseph Denoy Jr.; daughter Kimberly Denoy and her husband, Cliff Watson; and grandchildren; Luca Denoy and Winter Watson.

A blessing service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home 170 E. Broad St. Nanticoke, with the Rev. Richard J. Cirba, pastor or St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Wilkes-Barre, officiating.

Family and friends may call for viewing and visitation hours from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
