Janice L. Williams, 81, of Fairmount Township and lifelong resident of the Sweet Valley area, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 at her home.

Born in Lake Township, she was the daughter of Stanley and Irene James Garbush. She attended the Lake Lehman Schools.

As well as being a homemaker, Janice with her late husband, Tom (A.T.) Williams, owned Tom Williams Trucking Inc. Very active with the operation of the business, she handled the bookkeeping and paperwork. Tom preceded her in death June 18, 2005, 11 days before what would have been their 42nd anniversary.

She will be lovingly remembered as an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was always ready to help anyone at any time.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tom, Janice was preceded in death by her sister, Marion Franklin, and brothers, Stanley Garbush and wife, Jane, and Ken Minor.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Kalinowski and husband, Kevin, with whom she last resided; granddaughters, Kelsi Crowley and husband, Kevin, Lehman, and Cierra Kalinowski, Shavertown; a sister, Lois Dropko and husband, Ronald, Bunn, NC; as well as nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services or calling hours.
