Jacqueline A. Koslowski, 78, of Nanticoke, passed away Sunday morning, June 18, 2023 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Nanticoke, she was born September 2, 1944, a daughter of the late Albert and Viola Matulewski Brown. She attended the Nanticoke public schools and later earned an associate's degree in secretarial science from Luzerne County Community College.
She was married to John Koslowski on April 28, 1963.
Besides raising her family, Jacqueline worked outside of her home for different companies in the area, including RCA Corporation, Mountain Top and last with Sea Isle Sportswear, Wilkes-Barre, until retiring.
She was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke, and the former St. Francis of Assisi Church prior to the consolidation of parishes. Jacqueline was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and never missed watching a game.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by sisters, Ruth Levanda, Viola Shemanski, and Elizabeth Bobbin.
She will be truly missed by all of her loved ones. Surviving is her husband, John, with whom she shared sixty years of marriage; three sons, Dr. John Koslowski Jr., Bel Air, MD; Dr. Richard Koslowski and wife, Ann Marie, Lebanon; and Atty. Jeffrey Koslowski and wife, Alicia, Enola; four grandchildren, Zachary and Hallie Koslowski, Drew Koslowski, and Anders Carlston; brothers, Albert Brown and wife, Lynn, and William Brown and wife, Amelia; sisters, Dorothy Crouse, and Lillian Dewald; a brother-in-law, Joseph Bobbin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin 9:30 a.m. Friday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, 520 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke.
Interment will be in St. Joseph's Slovak Cemetery, Nanticoke.
Friends may call for viewing and visitation hours from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
