Helen M. Veronick, 79, of Nanticoke passed away Friday morning, March 4, 2022 at her home.
A life-long resident of Nanticoke, she was born October 20, 1942, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Kenjorski Grzymski. She graduated from Nanticoke High School, class of 1960.
She was married to John R. Veronick for fifty-five years, until his passing on September 1, 2017.
Helen was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska parish, Nanticoke. Although her main interest in life was her home and family, Helen had worked outside of the home including, RCA and Leslie Fay for a number of years. She retired from Integrated Power Designs, Hanover Township in 2012.
In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Kokora.
Surviving are three daughters, Denise Veronick (Jackie Turzer) of Lansdale, Susan Skurla (Michael), Lincoln University, PA, and Kelly Loy (Michael) of Fredericksburg, PA; grandchildren, Michael and Lauren Skurla and Andrew Loy; a brother, Edward (Sharon) Grzymski, Nanticoke; as well as a niece and nephews.
Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke.
Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, 520 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke.
Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Sheatown.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Kindred at Home, and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the comfort and care they provided.
