Helen Valence Tomko of Hillsborough, NJ passed away peacefully on the morning of November 11, 2025 at Foothill Acres nursing home.

Born in Nanticoke, PA May 8th, 1933, Helen was the daughter of Stephen and Florence(Bartkiewicz) Valence.

Upon leaving Nanticoke, she and her husband, Joe, settled in Hillsborough, NJ in the 1950s. Helen was employed by Johnson and Johnson for many years.

Upon retirement, she and Joe enjoyed traveling with their local Seniors group.

Helen was a member of Christ the King parish in Manville, NJ.

Preceding her in death were her husband Joseph, children Joey and Deenie and sister Bernadine.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Faustina Kowalska Church in Nanticoke, PA with burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery immediately following.
