Gene Tronsue, 57, of Wanamie passed away Monday, September 1, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a period of declining health.

Born August 27, 1968 in Nanticoke, he was the son of William and Mildred Eckrote Tronsue, of Wanamie.

After graduating from John S. Fine High School, Nanticoke, he enlisted with the U.S. Navy.

Gene enjoyed anything outdoors, especially riding his quad, side by side, and motorcycles.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are his sons, Brian Woychio and his wife, Sonia, of California, and Brody Tronsue, of Nanticoke; grandchildren, Wildyn and Amilliana Woychio, of California; sister, Stacy Lewis and her husband, Len; brother; Gene Oscielowski; nieces, Kelsey and Ashlyn Przekop; nephew, Gene Oscielowski; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, September 6th, from 3 to 5 p.m. from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke.
