David Robacheski

     David Robacheski, 68, lifelong resident of the Alden section of Newport Township, passed away peacefully,Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Birchwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke following an illness.

     Born October 8, 1957 in Nanticoke, he was a son of the late Lawrence “Robey” and Helen Baran Robacheski. He graduated from John S. Fine High School, Nanticoke class of 1975. He worked for Strick Corporation, Berwick for many years and later as an auto mechanic until becoming disabled in 1994 and was confined to a wheelchair.

     David was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed bowling.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Stewart.

     Surviving are his brothers, Lawrence J. Robacheski Jr. and his wife, Suzanne of Slocum Township; and Kenneth Robacheski of Hanover section of Nanticoke; nieces Kellie Ann Coberth and husband, Scott, Charlotte Stewart, Kristen Highhouse and husband, John, Ashleigh Stewart, Amber Robacheski, Amy Noyalis and husband, Gabriel, and Sarah Billeck; nephew, Nicholas Hruska; great nieces, Ava Coberth, Juliet Highhouse, and Audrey Noyalis; and great nephew, Blake Coberth.

     Christian Burial outside of Mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke.

     Viewing and visitation hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

      Interment and Rite of Committal will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wanamie.
