Christine D. Baker, 54, of Nanticoke passed away unexpectedly Thursday, morning, January 26, 2023 at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born August 8, 1968 in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of Joseph Jaskulski and the late Margaret Thorne Jaskulski. She attended parochial school until entering Nanticoke public schools, graduating from John S. Fine High School, class of 1986. Christine was employed as a manager at Guard Insurance, Wilkes-Barre.

Chris was one of a kind and fierce in every sense. Her family was of utmost importance and she cherished time with the love of her life, husband, Adam. Her children, Krystina and Adam were her pride and joy. She was quick to laugh and had the best sense of humor and her advice and character were unmatched. Always willing to lend a hand, she was an asset at work.

Chris will be missed by so many in every facet of her life. Surviving in addition to her father, Joseph Jaskulski, is her husband of thirty-three years, Adam J. Baker; a daughter, Krystina Baker and companion, Mark Mieczkowski, a son, Adam M. Baker and companion, Lacey Floyd; a brother, Joseph Jaskulski and wife, Sharon; a sister Maryellen Jaskulski; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with Deacon Herbert Cruikshank, of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, officiating.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Viewing and visitation hours will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the family.
