Carol A. Grabinski, 80, of Nanticoke, passed away Friday January 19, 2024 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born June 22, 1943, in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Amelia Zajaczkowski Bozimski.

She received her training at Luzerne County Community College and was employed at John Heinz Rehabilitation Hospital as a medical transcriptionist for many years. She was last employed as a medical receptionist at Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, retiring in 2014 due to health issues.

Carol was a faithful member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke, where she was active with the church groups, sang in the choir, cantered for masses and was involved with church activities. She was previously a member of Holy Child Church, Sheatown, for many years. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed Bingo, ceramic painting classes, knitting, and volunteering at Mary's Closet.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Boysha and her son, Darren Boysha.

Surviving is her husband of forty-six years Robert Grabinski; daughter Donna Roman-Loke and her husband, Thomas, of Nanticoke; granddaughters, Renee Roman and her companion, J.R. and great-grandson, Chase, of Nanticoke; and Andrea Roman-Smith and her husband, John, of Hanover section of Nanticoke; a brother Donald Bozimski of Maryland; as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish 520 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke.

Interment and Rite of Committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wanamie.

Friends may call for viewing and visitation hours from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the funeral home.
