Bruno S. Budurka, 84, of Nanticoke, passed away Sunday, December 29,2024 at Birchwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke. He is survived by his wife, the former Rose Garbulinski, whom he married June 24, 1961. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Born July 18,1940 in Nanticoke, he was a son of the late Edward and the late Helen Ulatowski Budurka Kuter.

Bruno was a 1958 graduate of Nanticoke High School and later in life, earned his Certificate in the plumbing, heating, and electrical trades from Luzerne County Community College.

Throughout his career as a machine attendant, he worked for R.C.A., Mountain Top, until his retirement from Fairchild Semi-Conductor in 2002.

He enjoyed spending time with family, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved his cigars, fishing, chopping wood, and going to the casino.

In addition to his wife Rose, he is survived by sons, Edward Budurka and his wife, Lora, of Springfield, OH and John Budurka and his wife, Jennifer, of Fort Washington, PA; and a daughter, Susan Dule of Bear Creek, PA; five grandchildren, Andrew Dule, Chase Budurka, Conner Budurka, Cali Budurka, and William Grant Budurka.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Wrinn; and brother, Gerald Budurka.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Saturday, January 18 th at 11 a.m. at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish 520 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke. Those attending the mass are asked to go directly to the church Saturday morning.

Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Nanticoke.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
