Obituary

Betty Ann Fopma, 59, of Nanticoke passed away Sunday, July 7th, 2024 at her home.


Born November 24th, 1964 in Washington, D.C., she was a daughter of the late George and Eleanor Kirpatrick Newton.


Betty Ann was a loving, kind hearted, and giving person. She was an inspiration to those around her. She enjoyed attending carnivals and fairs, listening to music, and playing cards. She was so very loved and will be deeply missed.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Murray, and Andrew Murray.


Surviving in addition to her husband, Michael Wisneski, are sisters, Mary Roberts and her companion, Ralph, Jean Ridgely and her husband, Chuck, Joan Burke and her husband, Billy; brother, Doug Newton and his companion, Missy; several nieces and nephews; her close friends, Michaelen, Dustin, and Boo Boo Kyle; and her beloved cats, Karma and Snowy.


A Memorial Service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E, Broad Street, Nanticoke, with the Rev. John M. Ritchey Jr., pastor of Sunshine Full Gospel Church, Shickshinny, officiating.


Friends and family may call for visitation from 2 p.m. until time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
