Bernadette A. Nemits

Bernadette A. Nemits, 78, of Harveys Lake, passed away at her home following a struggle with health issues.

She and her late husband, George, resided in Harveys Lake since 1972 and previously Kingston. He preceded her in death in 2018.

Born September 3, 1947 in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Bernard Stubb Sr. and the late Dorothy Wisniewski Stubb Brown. She graduated from Nanticoke High School in 1966 and attended business school. Bernadette was employed at CDP, Laird Street, Wilkes-Barre, and for many years at Owens Illinois, Pittston. She was last employed by CVS Caremark, Hanover Township in customer service until her retirement.

In addition to her husband, George, she was preceded in death by her step father, John Brown; and brothers, Bernard Stubb Jr. and Richard Stubb.

She is survived by sisters, Nancy Ellison and husband, John, Nanticoke, and Catherine Fauerbach and husband, David of Dallas; a brother, John Stubb and wife, Linda of Nanticoke; sisters-in-law, Irene Stubb of Pittston, and Jane Stubb of Marysville, PA; as well as nieces and nephews.

Christian Burial outside of Mass will be Saturday August 22nd at 11 a.m. from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke.

Visitation hours will be Saturday, August 22nd from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Interment and Rite of Committal will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Sheatown.
