Becky Cicerchia Federici, 71, of Nanticoke and formerly Shickshinny, left this world early Thursday morning, July 30, 2026 to be with her Lord. She finally has the peace she deserves from her battle with illnesses. Being a strong and courageous person, she didn’s let many people know about her fight.
Becky will be missed by her caregiver, and best friend, her sister, Louise Cicerchia and wife, Michelle, with whom she last resided in Nanticoke.
Born June 24, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Geno and Bernice Koons Cicerchia. She graduated from Northwest Area High School, class of 1973 and attended Empire Beauty School, as well as Luzerne County Community College.
Becky recently retired from Trion Industries, Wilkes-Barre. A devoted woman of faith, she was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Shickshinny, where she planned and participated in many fundraisers to benefit the church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was a hard- working woman, and caregiver to many family members. She loved Saturday adventures with Louise, the beach, and cooking as well as many great times with Louise and Michelle. She tried so hard to get back home with her girls. She also loved her neighbors who became like family to her. Becky was the most wonderful sister and meant the world to Louise and taught her to be a strong woman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Federici on May 14, 2014.
In addition to her sister, Louise, she is survived by a brother, Tyler Cicerchia and wife, Maureen, and family; her nephew, Kyle Cicerchia whom she was very proud of; a great nephew, Jaxson Donnelly, who lit up her world; cousins, Marlene and Al Janusziewicz and sons, Allen and David; sister-in-law, Brenda Sokolowski; niece Jaime Schelling and husband, Chris, and her little angel, Sophie.
The family would like to thank her physicians, Dr. Jason Fritz and Chris Acker PA at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as Dr. Jacqueline Cain, for the loving care they provided to Becky.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke, with Audrey Wysowski, CLS of First United Methodist Church of Shickshinny, officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
